
Muzi Ndledla was born in Mpophomeni Township, Umgungundlovu District of KwaZulu-Natal in 1979. He started drawing portraits of his school friends and was praised for his work. In 1998 Muzi was introduced to art through classes with Mduduzi Xakaza at the Tatham Art Gallery in Pietermaritzburg.
In 2008 he won the third prize at the Nivea Art Awards at KZNSA and, in 2017, the Mayoral Civic Reception Award from his local Umngeni Municipality. He practiced as a self-taught artist until he was awarded a Rita Strong Scholarship to study a post-graduate Diploma at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, graduating in 2018.

Originally a Durban beach boy, his work in bronzes is world renowned.”Michael J Mawdsley is a highly skilled and talented sculptor of considerable experience and success. Michael’s sculptural work to date covers the triad of African Wildlife, the Human Form and Local Flora. The whole process of taking a basic idea from clay maquette through to a finished bronze is what challenges and satisfies him.

Louise lives at and runs Satori Getaway, deep in the heart of the Dargle near the mystical mountain of iNhlosane that dominates the skyline of the region.
‘I paint with acrylic. My subjects are diversified and I’m always looking for new inspiration from wherever I can find it.

Brent Dodd was born and raised in Zimbabwe; growing up on a farm in the Eastern Highlands and attending one of Zimbabwe’s premier boarding schools, Peterhouse Boys. His subject matter is uniquely reflective of his own experience and his affection for this world of adventure and fascination. Committing his thoughts and findings to canvas, he portrays humans, landscapes, and wildlife with equal precision and empathy.
It was this upbringing that provided him with the foundation from which he launched his venture into the international art world. Having exhibited in New York, Las Vegas, Dallas, London and across the African subcontinent, he enjoys a strict schedule of international travel, building a footprint to satisfy his love of art.
Pat has been been behind the camera professionally since 1981. His work encompasses surfing, sport, fashion, FMCG, internationally and locally, doing advertising and editorial shoots for magazine and on-line publications. He’s had pictures published in a number of books, dozens of magazines and other publications. TV commercials and retail are other areas of experience. He has conducted two surf photography workshops in the last four years.In early 2020, he moved to the Midlands and now resides here.


Denise grew up on a farm in Zimbabwe where her deep set passion for nature was born.
She paints in acrylics and oils in which her subjects include wildlife, birds, landscapes and seascapes.
